Yoga on the Beach
Sunrise sun salutations with a view. Set on Southernmost’s stunning private beach at the Sand Bar Pavilion, experience the warmth of white sand beneath your toes as you move between poses. Harness the energy of nature as you bend into each yoga movement. Time your breath to the steady roll of the nearby Atlantic Ocean. Yoga on the beach is a great way to recharge post-flight, set your intentions for your Key West getaway, and simply relax. The soft sand provides an element of challenge to balancing poses while also offering a soft place to land your movements—perfect for trickier poses. Bring your own mat or beach towel to practice. Classes are weather dependent and begin at 9 am every Thursday and Saturday near the Sand Bar Pavilion.
Aqua Yoga
A refreshing, restorative practice for all levels of experience. In our private, adult-only Tranquility Pool, let yourself sink deeper into poses. Stretch your muscles without strain as your body weightlessly moves from pose to pose. Strengthen your core and improve balance as you work against the buoyancy of the water to execute each movement. Aqua Yoga provides a low-impact yet effective exercise using traditional poses that are great for people with joint pain, limited flexibility, and injuries. Begins at 9 am every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday in the Tranquility Pool—no sign up necessary.
